Went to the bakery for a quick Birthday Cake. Picked a small cheesecake and a Black Forest cake. Both were great

Best everything ever. Had surprise birthday dinner and was delighted. Food was amazing. Restaurant was clean, comfortable and staff are exceptionally friendly and expert. So much fun.

I have enjoyed visiting this bakery twice. I love their tamales and have gotten them both times. The sweet breads are tasty. I do prefer the sugar coated breads and pastries. I plan to come back anytime we are celebrating a family event. The staff is pleasant and helpful to me and my little Spanish language knowledge. Prices are reasonable.

We ordered a Tres Leches cake for my daughters birthday and it way above our expectations. Not only was it delicious, it was so pretty! The frosting was light and not super sugary like store cakes. The whole family loved it!!

Oh my god tortas are 12-15 bucks! Oh my god they're the size of a small orbiting moon with their own gravitational pull! Oh my god a single torta just fed me and my family through the winter. Yum yum killer torta.

Very tasty and authentic. Beware, portions are big! My daughter and I shared the Hawaiian ham sandwich and neither of us finished an entire half. The bread and bakery is delicious too.

Part bakery, taqueria, beer store, meat shop, international telephone landline spot, and produce market. They have huge cuts available, like upwards of 10 lbs. beef shoulder, cheek, whole lamb legs, and various tripes. Cecina, beef and chicken marinated fajitas, steak for tacos, etc. are always ready for the taking. You might even find seven pepper salsa, pico de gallo, beef shank, homemeade tamales made down the street, imported Mexican cheeses, chayote, and green coconuts if you are looking for something different to add to your ethnic fooding experience.

Lovely little bakery and deli in a strip mall populated mostly by Hispanic shops. I drive a cab and often stop in when I drop people off at the dialysis center nearby. I don't know what many of the pastries are called, but my favorite is this triangle-shaped dessert with pink gelatin filling. Pastries are gigantic and very cheap ($1-ish per pastry). I've never tried the deli. Tip: When you go in for pastries, grab a circular pan and a pair of tongs, scoop up what you want onto your pan, then bring the pan up to the register so the cashier can wrap up your goodies. I always feel like a huge gringo every time I go in, but I welcome the opportunity to practice a little Spanish, step out of my usual element, and get to know a slice of the Mexican community in Madison. Delicious food and worth a visit!
